Hi guys, wondering if it is possible to wangle the rear anti-roll out on its own?
If not what is the most practical way of doing it?

Cheers

are you just fitting new holders or completely removing? if just removing a fair few original e30's came without rears fitted

I'm completely removing it so I can clean it up and fit new drop links etc
I had a little gander today and I couldn't see how I would get it out

jack it up and fit the new bushings, no need to remove unless you're repainting the bar/brackets

if you want to remove, it should wriggle out fairly easy with the wheels gone

I'm planning on painting the bar as its flaking a bit, so with wheels off it should come out ok.
Nice one

If you're still struggling with the wheels off, take the coil springs out too and it should slide out easily enough.

There's a Wiki page dedicated to the Rear ARB. Remember that Removal is the reversal of Fitting:
