Lurking in the budget yesterday was the announcement there will be a rolling 40 year tax exemption from 1st April 2014.

Only 8 years to go for me then
Just don't want some Labour t**t coming along and cancelling it like they did the 25 year one in 1997.

I guess that is better than a kick in the teeth!
Just 14 years for me to 'save' £225pa,wonder if the touring will last that long?
Be better if VED was based on the owner's age,free VED for pensioners!

Looking at the C&SC piece it appears to have been written last year as the earliest blog comments relate to 52 weeks ago.
I may be mistaken but I think that is old news based on last year's budget.
