Anyone have an idea of how to remove either the whole automatic gear handle, or just the leather from it.

It's looking abit aged and in need of some fresh leather!

Many thanks

From the Realoem site it looks like there's a screw on the front underneath the knob.
Can you see or feel anything like that? I know the manual ones just pull off pretty easily but I've not done an automatic yet.

Oh yeahhh, just checked that out, and I can see it's showing a screw. So far I've only been able to find replacement leather. I'm thinking get the old leather off, and trying put replacement on is going to look shit.

Guess it's a visit to the dealership to by the actual handle.

Thanks for your help pal

No worries. Have you checked online for them first? Maybe on ebay?

What about this for instance? It says it fits E30

Yeah I saw this, and i thought once this has been fitted, I can imagine it's gonna be pretty loose and look pretty poor. Obviously a real one looks like this

I can't imagine them slip on ones will look as compact.
