I have just bought a H Redge bmw e30 touring 1.8, i have a bmw e30 hatchback 320 which i put a 325 in.
my question is can i take my 325 engine out of my hatchback and put it in my touring as easily as it went into my hatchback? dont want to mess around
i use the 320 gearbox on the 325 and it runs fine.
if this engine will fit my touring what gearbox/diff should i use? and is there any other parts i will need?
sorry if this is in the wrong section i am new to this
thanks jak

I doubt if you have a E30 320 hatchback, since BMW never made one! I take it you have a two door saloon.
Touring and saloon undersides are identical, so your 325 engine, 320 gearbox, prop. shaft, exhaust, and whatever diff. you are using with it will all fit straight in.
318 gearbox and prop won't fit, and the 318 diff. will be weak as well as being an unsuitable ratio.
