Car looks great, apart from the rear numberplate which clearly doesn't fit properly, and looks odd!

I reckon looks sweet just a bit more drop on the rear. Cloggy how they wrong size?? Just cos they are not to o.e. spec don't mean wrong size. 195 good stretch on a 8j personally would have gone for 205/40 but with an overall Et of 5 don't think got enough rear arch clearance.

With the 17mm width of the adaptors I think 205s would be pushing it without arch work, especially if the car is being lowered a touch. I've got 205/45s on mine and they only just sit inside the rear arch and that's without the extra width of adaptors that the OP has. The fronts are even worse.

Those wheels look great on a touring. Does anyone know if they'll fit without spacers, with normal width (205?) tyres and a slight lowered spring (Eibach 40-30mm)?

As they are 5x120, they won't fit without adaptors unless you fill and drill.
There is (or was) definitely one E30 in the US with these filled and drilled to 4x100, and I think the tyres were 205/50s but can't remember 100%.
