Is there any real difference between the e36 m3 and e30 m3 ones? I was going to get the e30 ones

E30 and 36 ones are interchangeable, including the metal brackets.

More e36s got offset bushes though, both 3.0 m3 and 328i sport got eccentrics.

Be careful if they're listed as e36 m3 though, because the 3.2 had normal centred bushes, but with more rubber than the standard centred e30 / e36 bush.
cheers,

harry

Will be buying a set of these in a few weeks, & getting new brackets at the same time,

Only problem is that at the moment I've got normal poly one's on the car, is it possible to use a two leg bearing puller to remove the old brackets from the wish bone??

If not is there any other way to get them off?? Angle grinder??
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Poly ones are normally easy to get off, undo the lollipops off the rail and twist them off.

Well they appear to be the same & you would have thought they would be stronger on account of the e36 being heavier, well that's how it looks to me lol

They said the E36 ones are 1mm smaller than the E30 ones and not advised to be used, only at your own risk!!!

you would get away with using them on road but not if you do track days. I believe they pop out like the powerflex ones can do

You best buy some E30 ones then, especially as your car will be the next best thing to an F1 car built for the road
