Hi was going to order up a fuel filter for the 91 318i touring.
But CP4L gives me two options one is 90mm dia & 158mm long, the other is 55mm dia & 201mm long.
Would anyone wich one or do I need to measure the existing filter?
Thanks Broadie
Which fuel filter size please?

Short and fat fits in the rear right of the engine bay. Long and narrow goes just in front of the LH rear wheel. Where's yours?

Thanks Brian
That's a good question.
Is it to do with the tank size?

I bought one this morning from GSF, they gave me the option of 55mm and 74mm diameter, the 74 is the one that I asked for and looks the same as the one that fits by the tank

Mines underneath by the tank the main body is approx 76mm x 110mm. Not listed on CP4L!
It's on the large tank so that rules out my possible theory of the larger tank not having room underneath for a filter.
Thanks Broadie

As I've posted on here before, don't take too much notice of anything I post on here when I get in on a Monday night!Brianmoooore wrote:Short and fat fits in the rear right of the engine bay. Long and narrow goes just in front of the LH rear wheel. Where's yours?
The above is, of course, completely the wrong way around.
I think the only facelift E30s with the skinny front mounted filter are four pot saloons, including the iS.
