When im driving....the quality of brightness given out from my 325i sport when the lights are on dipped beam is very poor indeed!!!

What bulbs are best in getting the best brightness? On country lanes with no street lamps, it does become a struggle to see where you going!

i put "ice blue" bulbs from halfords in, not cheap though at Ԛ£14 each and i beleive they are technically illegal for road use but i found them to give a nice crisp white light . maybe your headlights have become tarnished inside the lenses so might need replaced.

Odd, I've put Osram Silverstars in both my E30s and my Mum's E36 and it's made a huge difference, I can't recommend them enough :?

from experience might be an idea to change the whole headlight unit to the Angel Eyes. Might sound weird at first to some but I had a problem with my dipped beam not giving out enough light on the road, had smileys on there before btw and since changing to the angel eyes lamp units night time driving has improved so much so I can see better at night as they are a lot more clearer, they are expensive bout Ԛ£200-Ԛ£250 but there worth every penny.

My dipped beam is really poor too, I've just fitted my Osram Silverstar's and I can't see any difference either. The car has a recent MOT but I'm going to get the alignment checked as I can see more of the hedge than road.
