A lot of people say it is worth it. I fitted them, but I also rebuilt the whole front suspension at the same time. It feels a lot better but I don't know how much of that is the offset bushes. Suspect that it's just that it is all tight again.

Yes, you would need to get the tracking done, but you should if you change the bushes for standard, too.

Is this a wind up? I thought you were part of the BMW race team and knew everything?

Seriously though, will it matter with that F1 technology your packing into the M50/M52 B90?

Surely you'll be lapping the rest of pack anyway?

You are a true legend and I only wish I knew 1% of your valuable knowledge, then I would be a true genius (although obviously far less superior than you)

Fitting offset bushes was probably the first thing I ever did to an E30 as it's the best value job you can do do improve the handling... That was probably 7 or 8 years ago... Seems like you've great technical knowledge to contribute to your BMW race team if your asking about fitting offset bushes to an E30 when it's pretty much a no brainer mod at this stage :? :P

I had them fitted and noticed no difference whatsoever.

Fitted them to mine on the basis that everyone said it was a good idea and I thought as they were solid they would last longer. I replaced everything at the same time as when I got the car every suspension component was beyond worn out so it was always going to be an improvement

The only other thing you might need to do is adjust the front undertray to stop the wheels rubbing on full lock
