sorry not a fan.
I do like bags on the right car and I love E30 M3's but the two should never mix, owning an M3 is all about enjoying the great handling and owning a true drivers car, bags will spoil all this leaving you with bit of a lame M3

Look at it as though I've saved a potential breaker
All the air is reversible if I want to. (I don’t want to)
And handling isn't any worse than standard. In fact it's better. Its done properly on performance air. Maybe not as good as coilovers in terms of handling but for practicality and the novelty its better. A perfect compromise for me.
Thanks for all the love guys

So when its at driving height how will you be able to tell??
Regarding value. This isn't a for sale thread. If I intend to sell it (which I highly doubt) it will go back to standard suspension.

that is seriously retarded, not just because it's an M3 but why would you do it to any car ?
it's also definitely not the first, some geezer in the states did it to his E30 m3 years ago.. he was a complete fu cking idiot too

Drive a car on performance air with anti roll bars and all the good stuff then pass a judgement.

its got a hell of alot better over the years I'll give you that, air ride a few years back was like driving a car with marshmallows for wheels. Despite the fact its got better it still has no place on a proper drivers car its still just for show/showing offNickE30singh wrote:Drive a car on performance air with anti roll bars and all the good stuff then pass a judgement.

I would love that, I keep seeing them in magazines and wonder how a good kit would handle and feel.NickE30singh wrote:Drive a car on performance air with anti roll bars and all the good stuff then pass a judgement.

Surely there's things in life that mean alot more than an E30 on air-ride to prompt such strong words!... lol

get it right we are talking an E30 M3 here, had it just been an E30, even a sport I'm sure hardly anyone would have had a bad word to say other than the huge OE homo'sLow_E30 wrote:Really??Simon13 wrote:I'd rather eat shit than roll in that

I know what you mean, the only experience I've had so far with air suspension is a 80something Buick, not a sport car either given the proportions.
