I have discovered a hole behind the fuse box on my 318i '90 which is letting water into the passenger footwell but I am unsure of how to remove it from the car. It is situated on the passenger side of the car and has 4 wires connecting to it.

Do these just pull off or is it hardwired? I didnt want to pull at them incase they broke.

Cheers

Not quite sure what you mean. There's a large rubber grommet fitted into the bulkhead behind the glove box which is part of the fusebox. It also has pre stamped blanked holes for other wiring to come through, depending on what options are fitted.
It's common for this grommet to be partly dislodged from the bulkhead, letting in water, and iot's also a place where serious rusting can occur.

I have a similar problem. Is the grommet still available separately ?
