As i am new this site, just wondering whats up with the rivalry as there appear to be a few people who are on both sites? Is there a big difference? Both sites are very similar, though more seems to be goin on with E30zone.

It's one of those things we "don't like to talk about"

The Planet is a smaller more relaxed forum that sprung up a while back, when the zone was having problems.

The general feeling is live and let live. from what I understand the planet was created by a few zone members who were unhappy. Alot of members are signed up to both, personally I only have time for one forum so I'm sticking with the zone.

i am an active member of both sites. initially there was a little friction between the two sites, but now i honsetly believe it is just a thing of the past.

of course you will always get one or two people who hold a grudge in a big way, but lifes too short! lets just enjoy the things that brought us all together?

it can't hurt in all honesty can it? I don't see any prob with it, just gives everyone more choice which can't be bad

I don't go on there for the same reasons as hoshy said

Hi Jamo, in answer to your question...

planete30 was started up by some zoners at a point in time when the zone was going through some "issues"

these have since been resolved and the zone is back to its usual friendly self, and is growing daily

planete30 was designed to offer an alternative forum, with a slightly more "relaxed" attitude-a job it does well!

lots of zoners are also planeteers-including myself!

Basically the e30zone/planete30 mantra is

"keep the e30's alive"

and long may it stay that

personally I have nothing against Planet E30 -and see no reason to-, I just stick to the zone because this place is the one I found first in the internet and I am happy being part of it.
