Hi gents
I'm driving myself mad looking at wheels for my cab.
I really want some with a nice dish but nothing too much I start to look too council.
I explored the avenue with Dare, lenso etc and to be fair they seem good value. Only thing is that there are soooo many different fitments it's terrible.
I'm torn between 15" 16" 7j or 8j
Now I don't want it too wide and I will still be running standard tyre profile as I don't want the arch gap to get bigger. Currently on Billy's and eibach pros.
Any advice thought would be awesome.
Cheers

If you want your car to retain a value, and drive decent, you will go no lower than 30 mm at the front and use a quality spring like H+R or Eibach . As for wheels, 16" Alpinas are the obvious answer for your car. Obviously if you want your car to look and drive like all the other £1200 scrap convertibles, you have a lot more options

This above post is exactly my quandary.
Will the ride be affected that much
I bought the best suspension for a reason so don't want to ruin it

16" Alpina's, BBS varieties and staying at Eibach ride height will allow a decent tyre profile also to retain a proper ride. Personally I prefer the staggered look, but that's just my opinion

Have you had a look at the options here?
http://www.e30zone.net/e30zonewiki/index.php/Wheels
Notice there are no Dares or Lensos on that list.

I suppose nothing is wrong would just love say an extra inch so it sits like the rear on too of the tyre as apposed to just above it. I know this is the design.
I would have the Alpinas but I would rather some shinier wheels.
I have heard about the E90 tophat thing for the front that may do me just fine

Ive ran them for the last 9 months as my daily wheels and there still fine, and at £80 a rim i aint gonna flap if i fold one up on a gutter.

And Fiddy, the ONLY wheel for an Alpina sport pack convertible are 16" Alpina's, not some cheap Chinese tat.

That's what I did read.
Right she is staying as she is. New roof getting fitted this weekend and on the hunt for some nice wheels.
What would you go for 15/16s

And don't do the H&R 60mm on the front ....
Eibach 30mm is far superior.
I have tried both.

Just stop all this nonsense- you have an Alpina Sports Pack fitted so Alpina's are the only rims you should fitFiddy wrote:How about a set of MIM 1900 et13 are these alright
