Bought some new balljoints for my control arms, good lemforder ones. Took the lot to a garage near work with a big press and the guy told me the old joints will not come out.. do I:
A admit defeat and get replacement arms with new balljoints
B assume he's useless and source someone else
C any other suggestions?
I'm now struggling with just us having the one car for over a week so speedy correct solutions welcome!

Dont let him near your car.
Did mine last night on a small 10 ton press I don't think we went over 6 ton.
An engineering shop would be a good bet.

He's useless. I do mine without a press.
Hacksaw, chisel and 4lb lump hammer do the job fine.
