So my clutch pedal drops to the floor and I guess it's the master or slave cylinder to blame. I've ordered both parts and I know the slave should be easy to swap but what about the master. Can I tackle it as a relative amateur mechanic? What should I look out for. Any easily broken parts or special tools required for instance?

If you can change a slave cylinder, you can change the master... :thumb:

Best to spray the union from the master with WD40 before you start. I ordered a new seal for the bulkhead. Biggest issue is access to be honest and taking care when inserting the new plastic elbow that connects to the hose that goes to the reservoir.. Taking the drivers seat out helps for sure... No special tools required!

Good luck.. :thumb:

I found the slave harder to get back on than working on the master... that top bolt was a bugger..

Yep, I think it is number 3 too. Dealer couldn't find a number for it either. Definitely not 9, we tried that.

If you can find out it would be very useful.

Thanks
Ben
