Hi guys. Car sat for a year just passed mot. Took it for its first run today. Starts runs fine. Warms up and then won't rev above 2 thousand keeps juddering choking. Let it cool down for half hour back to full revs. I have changed the master air flow. Any other ideas? Thanks Chris p.s very limited mechanical know how

What's the "master air flow"? Do you mean the air flow meter? (AFM).

At this point, DO NOT replace any other parts. You're more likely to interfere with things than fix them.

A good idea is to disconnect the battery, then earth the POSITIVE lead to the chassis for a few minutes. Let the engine go stone cold. Now reconnect the battery, start the car and let it idle for 10 mins. Then turn it off, restart it, and take it for a drive. See how it drives, and whether the 2000rpm rev limit is still there. Report back.
