Had this problem for a while now. Between 2000 and 3000 rpm (ish) I can feel a quite strong vibration through the pedals, floor and to a lesser extent the steering wheel, and it seems to be worse on overrun. Beyond 3000 rpm it smooths out. Any ideas what it could be?

I have a similar problem, be interested to see what this is! When in 5th mine will vibrate, but change down to 4th & then back up, the problem goes, weird.

What effect does holding the clutch down have, when it happens?
Ditto, if you knock it out of gear?

Are you thinking something with the prop'?

I tried holding down the clutch, & the problem stopped, don't know what that means

I thought it may be the clutch plate but if it happens when moving and then stops when you press the clutch down then it would more likely be in the drive train somewhere. Have you taken the prop off at all? What condition is the prop centre bearing? Has it ever been changed?

I've solved alot of this, got the clutch fluid bled & changed, got the Gearbox oil changed at the same time, from 80/90 to 75/90, it changes gear alot easier now, & seems to have more go as well, get the vibration intermittently, again at 3k in 5th gear, but nowhere near as bad as before.
