i've stripped my car down to the bare bones and the only thing thats really left on are the wings..

I wanted to know if they bolt on into 1 fixed position or whether there is adjustment in them.. reason being I really need to treat some rust on the jacking points, but i'm worried as I have nothing to line them up with when they go back on.. i.e. no bonnet bumpers or doors..

Had a pain in the arse with a wing before so thought i'd just check as they are only really still on for this reason

cheers

They adjust in every direction, sorry!

You have to line all the panels up as you go.

There is a real skill to it.

If you split the door hinges on their pins rather than unbolting them it gives you something to go by.

I think i'll give it a miss this time! cheers for the heads up mate!

If I can remember right the bottom hinges are fixed, and then tops adjust?, pretty confident I can do the doors! but with the wings I'm out of my depth! :(

seems a bit silly to me to strip a car to that degree and then leave the wings on, pull your finger out and do it properly :D
