Hi everyone

I can see from the search button that this topic has been covered a lot but I still see differnt outlooks on exhausts.

I don't wanna any bake bean can on the back or massive dustbin but I don't want a nice bit of sound.

Can anyone recommend an exhaust or know of any good deals new or used.

Thank you

What year is it? There were 2 different kinds of exhaust systems used on 325is.

I got quoted £1200 for a 3 piece and £600 for a 2piece, genuine BMW. Alternatively 2 piece Eberspacher from ECP is about £400...

Luckily mine just needed a bit of welding and will hopefully last another 12 months.

Well as you know, your car had an Alpina exhaust from new but if your car was a standard 325i then it would have had a two piece system being an '89 car.

Being the car this is, it has to be a genuine exhaust if the Alpina system cannot be secured.

Barry, I cannot remember but did this have the full Alpina system with the 6 branch? If so, whats it wearing now?

Well if it's any good to you I have for sale a scorpion stainless steel system for an 85 - 88 325i in excellent condition. It's on eBay but have a look on my for sale thread here.

Just to recap.

Are there any differences between Coupe/saloon/touring/cabrio exhaust systems

Thank you

There's no difference between the body shells.

The prefacelift convertible is the EXACT same length as a prefacelift saloon.

Unsure as of make but good quality would just like something with a slightly deeper tone.
