Hi guys im considering selling my e30 as i have my eyes set on a stunning e28. However im not quite sure what the value of my car is, after looking around i cant really find a car of a similar build therefor unable to compare price.

So ill write a list of the spec of my car!

-m20b25 engine with 90k on the clock, professionally fitted by a mechanic
-Running 325, Gearbox, prop shaft, diff, exhaust system and all necessary ancillaries (comes with twin pipe scorpion back box)

-Manufactured as a 316i (Still registered as a 316)

-51mm Struts with ebay coilies on front and bilstein b6 shocks on back

-325 Calipers with drilled and grooved disks

-Dare D-RB alloys (Fake splits) all wheels have small amount of kurbing but other than that in good condition or original 15" bbs alloys (in need of a refurb)

-Paint is Gloss Black with a minimal amount of laquer coming off on the bonet, small rust patch on rear arches

-A few small dings and age related marks

-Full leather sport interior - Lacking a matching driver side door card.

-Drives very well, handles well and looks good!

These images are from a about a year ago. Wheels arnt looking as fresh. Car also sits lower now

Anyway i apreciate you taking time to read this and thank for any help provided! Im only after a rough idea of how much its worth!

Also sorry if this is post is in the wrong section, couldent find a relevent one!

THis is my progress thread, hasent been updated for quite some time now but has a variety of photos

Also forgot to mention, there has been a minor impact in the past, before i owned the car, can just about be seen underneath the right hand side tail light. Unfortunately the dent progresses through to the rear wing, up until the rear wheel arch. Its not easily noticed unless looking for it. Been quoted aprox 200£ for it to be repaired.

A converted 316i with lairy wheels is worth about 1500 on a very good day. Yours isn't even worth that.

It might look nice in photos, but each point you mention is detracting from the car's value (ebay coilovers, incomplete interior, drilled discs, RUST) to the point where it could only be considered a project. It's got rear drums and no foglights, but you've found money for an aftermarket steering wheel and a Scorpion backback, which shows any potential buyer where your priorities where with this car, and it wasn't in maintenance.

Considering you haven't even registered the engine swap, and it's got unrepaired crash damage on top of the arch rust, it's probably not even worth a grand in bits.

I know it's your car and you love it, but no buyer is going to part with serious money for it based on what you've told us.

Now you know why people on here bang on about originality and being in a factory fresh state, that's where the money is.!
