The seller (guy whose pics are on the register) told my customer, aka 'the victim' that the arches were a very rare factory option fitted at great expense for the original owner before delivery ! The victim swallowed this and ignored all my advice to get them removed. Even worse, when the body was 'restored' the arches were removed and then REFITTED !!!
4 star bleeted about the 'rare' arch trims and how they were in homage to the classic E9 CSL !
Fair fooooks to them, some fool swallowed the BS and ponied up 16 bags for it !

No frigging way! I wouldn't pay 5 for it, in fact I'm not sure I even like it... the e24 is a weird shaped beast.

I blow hot and cold on the E24. They have to be absolutely spot on to hit the spot and to my eyes, a nice prefacelift 300CE is a prettier car. The W126 SEC even more so.

Yeah a 300CE and a SEC is the way to go. One major bonus is that are pillarless.Andyboy wrote:I blow hot and cold on the E24. They have to be absolutely spot on to hit the spot and to my eyes, a nice prefacelift 300CE is a prettier car. The W126 SEC even more so.
