Hi
I am after some replacement alloys for my cab and need some help with alloy\tyre sizes.
I want to go down the 16"\17" route and need to know the maximum width on rear as I don't want to change suspension or roll arches etc, can anyone help?
Thanks
Naz

Don't put 17s on, bmw, alpina, hartge, racing dynamics and Schnitzer used up to 16s for a good reason.
I'm pretty sure 205 and 225 are the max width for 7.5 and 8" rear wheels.

Thanks for the replies guys, I have been offered some 16" alloys with a 9J rear together with a 195/45/16 stretch, would this be OK?

I have 17" at the moment and they are not too bad, but obviously if I can get a better ride with 16s then I may go down this route...beemerbird wrote:17s will give horrible ride quality.

The ET is 20, they are a staggered setup as the front rims are 7J and the rears 9J....?ImysE30 wrote:Should be okay depending on the ET of the wheelsnazkhan33 wrote:Thanks for the replies guys, I have been offered some 16" alloys with a 9J rear together with a 195/45/16 stretch, would this be OK?
