Hey there,

Im in the process of swapping my 2.0 for a 2.5 from another e30.

The new engine comes with an auto flywheel so thats no use. My problem is that the clutch kit I bought (Apparently for a 2.5) is way too large for the 2.0 manual flywheel. The friction plate is larger and the pressure plate is no where near to fitting.

Can somebody shed some light?

Thanks

E30 B20 and B25 flywheels are identical, give or take the odd early 320 flywheel trigger pin for the crank sensors. Clutch discs are the same, and the cover plate differs only in the strength of the spring.
For a standard road going B25, I'd consider using the 320 cover plate anyway. It's up to normal driving, and is much easier on the leg muscles in traffic.

Early B25 flywheels had these as well.
