hello
need help for my friend's car, he just buy e30 m40 318i that has for a long of time about 3 years not running.
but he got problem, that is every 30 minutes the engine suddently die and the plugs all is wet of gasoline. it run good smooth but that is the problem
he has tried to change afm, fuelpump, ecu and no different.
his car air conditioning is not running.
what should he check again and what is faulty? bad injectors?
need advice. thank you

Chief suspect is the crank position sensor, but the DME relay isn't above suspicion, and I had one case where the ECU turned out to be the cause.
How soon can it be restarted after it dies?
When it dies, does the rev. counter drop instantly to zero, or just drop slowly as the revs. die?

the engine will cut off after idle at 30 minutes but if the car run in the road and I play the accelerator pedal it is not die.
so it always die after 30 minutes idle, it is just drop slow-slow and slowly and then die.
and the combustion chamber is always flood of gasoline then.
it can be restart soon after 2 minutes. what the suspect?
