Can anyone recommend an insurance company that I can use cover for my Convertible and accrue NCB?

The E30 is originally a 320i with some minor mods now.

NCB will negate a classic policy so you're down to mainstream insurers who'll love declared mods!!
But the usuals like Adrian Flux will accomodate mods and might not reem you.

If standard then you can get pretty good deals online with daft places like MoreThan etc. but the moment you mention mods to the high street folk then it's pants down time...

What's the deal with not declaring the mods these days?

Mods are:

2.7lump
Alloys
Coil overs
Exhaust

Got quotes from Flux, HIC (Same really), Brentacre & Sky for a heavily modded E30 and Sky provided a very affordable quote on a limited mileage policy :)

You can accrue NCB with classic line insurance. I'm with them and they are a great lil outfit :)

if its a 2nd car , then its cheap enough to insure on classic anyway without too much worry about NCB, as you can only attach NCB to 1 policy anyway (your daily) , and if you dont have any accidents and all goes well although not an NCB as such when renewing they should do a deal

http://www.classiclineinsurance.co.uk/

I've got a IN10 on my license, and even with that my insurance came to £600.00 which is a bargain for me. (And yes that's with 4 yrs NCB).

I should accrue an extra year from classic line >> 5 yrs NCB.

And use google my friend :)
