Need to pick the experts' brains for a sec:

Will an e30 to e36 steering joint fit onto a 1.9 z3 steering rack with no issues?

The Z3 rack IS an E36 rack, so if the knuckle is designed for E30-to-E36, then it'll fit.

i have a z3 rack on my car and used the standard e30 steering joint to join it - so check yours doesn't fit before you buy an adapter
