Mate of mine is selling this, thought I'd post it here for more exposure! He bought it in Germany, drove it home and converted it himself using a Cosworth steering rack, it's got a ridiculously short lock to lock on it.
She's a bit untidy round the edges, but the mechanicals are spot on. He's got a lot of sentimental value in it and really doesn't want to see it broken for parts or ruined by a chav, hopefully someone here will have the shreddies to pick this project up and fully restore it.

You must have a short memory!kam-325i wrote:That's the first RHD conversion I have seen where they have also converted the wipers to RHD !!!!!

Glovebox on the car linked will not be just a bolt in job,the bulkhead is cunningly different in this area on LHD versions. It's one of the bits that I failed to get absolutely right.

Not a short memory, not seen the touring before either.....
I must admit that I have only seen a few (4/5)325ix's, and they have all been the moordoor version, and only 2 of those were RHD conversions, both with the wipers still in LHD mode !

I'm interested to see how much this sells for. There's lots to do to get it sorted and it's already sitting at £1320. It's certainly not blessed with a decent spec, manual front windows etc.
I think an original LHD version would be worth more. My IX will probably be up for sale soon, hence the interest.

5 door nonsense. I believe it's wedged quite far back from his opening.bss325i wrote:Pacer has a rhd converted 325iX up the passage.

You lot make no sense sometimes.
Should be an easy fix up job to get it looking nice surely?
Yep, lots of attention to detail on things like that, but never got round to sorting the bodywork.kam-325i wrote:That's the first RHD conversion I have seen where they have also converted the wipers to RHD !!!!!
