Don't know what it was off.... Guy said maybe a E28? , the back of the blades are recessed and I have recessed them more and spaced the blade to the rear by 4mm
It sits very close to the water pipe but dosnt touch
Over all diameter was cut down aswell
Hub thread and water pump thread was cut down also so the hub actually can be fitted with the rad in
Ill be fitting new engine mounts to stop excessive forward movement
Over all it fits works and sucks air through like a jet engine !!

Must make 1st and 2nd gears more or less redundant if running such a low diff ratio - it's not much higher than my Morris Minor Traveller's 4.22:1!
I can supply a good chip for the M30B35 if you are running the 179 ECU.

na im running 195 tires and i struggler to spin in first gear but it pulls like a mule!
i have a chip in it now just a 25$ ebay job and i rekon it is great!! what power increase do your chips have?
viscous fans are great! simple!
never seen a diesel fan as we dont get them in Aus
im going to see if i can get my motor to go back futher... its just touching the bulkhead sound proofing so theres maybe 5mm there dosnt sound like much but every mm counts in this situation!
the rad is a E28 M535i

My chips give gains of around 8-12bhp an a 7,000rpm rev limit, but more importantly, really make the M30B35 feel like the big engine it is by removing the flat spots inherent in the standard program.
I fitted one to my 1988 E34 535iSE, and it would do an indicated 147mph on a private runway, pretty impressive for a 20 year old engine.

Lol 'on a private runway' is that what you call the M1 Maurice?
I can vouch for these chips, I have the 'mild' one and I can do a 35mph 3rd gear rolling wheel spin... on a private runway of course. ;)
They really perk these big engines up and the mid rev band torque delivery is brutal.

Good to hear you're happy with it.
This link confirms the 147mph claim (albeit from a different chip):
