will do ..
It really was silky smooth to drive, odd really as it's a diesel but it was like a petrol engine, no major power band, pulled through the whole rev range and was very quiet.
Part of the deal was a Audi inspection and any work done that needs it. The front bumper had a dissagreement with the kerb and had a couple of stone chips so they are replacing that also.
So should have it in an week or so.
Are they worth re-mapping for some extra MPGs etc?

Wrong person to ask about re-mapping, never considered it, or done it, as it's not the sort of thing that interests me. MPG gains is usually the reason given for re-mapping.
I'd be tempted to run it for 1-2 years and then make a call on that.

The best thing is not having to pack the kids in the back of an e30 2 door anymore

LOL, that's because it is !!
Requirements list:
1. Estate and large for kids bikes stuff etc
2. Diesel for mpg and low tax
3. not a BMW (I have 3 already)
And actually I prefer the interior to the F10 or E250, it's more driver orientated
Other than that, it's a 1850kg blob of silver !!!

As long as you're happy that's all that matters.
