Im in search of a heavy duty or performance clutch for my 325i, some thing stronger than the standard Sachs or Luk.
Any ideas of price and links?
Thanks.

That does seem good value for money...
I seen some Black Diamond clutches, theres a stage 1 and stage 2 (made of 100% kevlar)... Anyone here used this? And are they any good?

the 618 is a pressure plate its known to handle good torque and bhp with a standard clutch plate whilst maintain good feel, can take even more with a heavy duty clutch

The difference is in the straps (thicker/more of them as the OE straps fail from too high a thrust load) and clamping force is also slightly higher on the 618.

I would also be upgrading the throw out bearing to an all metal one.

Well going to cut along story short..,

Decided to restore my swartz black sports 7 years ago, so stripped the engine for a 2.7 conversion, not having the time and people letting you down didnt have chance to complete it.
The engine is down to a bare block and head, have brought everything brand new to every nut to washer.

Alot of money has gone into this build and no expence spared.
I did buy a sachs clutch kit from eurocarparts but the clutch disc was misplaced at the machine shop!

Hoping to achieve 30% more power than standard.
Will try doing a write up once comlete.

So it looks its between sachs performance and black diamond stage 2... But which one?
