Hi guys, i have come across a e30 320 auto in a breakers near me, there not bmw breakers and this car is well buried and sat up high on another car. just seen a 320 auto on gumtree which states it has a LSD? How would i find out if this 320 auto has the same?? if so would it be a good buy cheap enough and what will it fit?.

Is it a dolphin grey auto? If so it hasn't but does have aircon the chassis number is ag26809

Yes it is and it does have air con, i just been taking off bits here and there as spare. how did you find out?

It will be a 4.27 ratio small case diff if its a 320 auto so even if it was an LSD, it would not be worth a great deal.
The complete A/C kit if a factory on would have been worth more.

What would the air con kit go for? mine has air con so didnt pay it much attention, it would be a shame to see the car get crushed complete. is the exhaust same as 325 touring? as it is new all the way. what else would you salvage? timing belt snapped, thats why it is there.

Exhaust is 320i only and a secondhand A/C kit complete is worth about £200+ depending on if the fan is seized and the condition of the pipes.

thanks for that, you have just made me think now coz my car has been stood for 15yrs so my fan could be seized

Not really to be honest.
If it's a low mileage car then the AFM might have a small value.
