Is the silver cab still laid up in that garden in Croydon?

Not sure, been down that road in a few years BUT i will being driving down the Purley way so I can take a detour.

I spoke to the guy about 4 years ago, he's an Audi technician, and he couldn't get the car through the emissions test, that says the head is fooked to me!

No, that will be a combo of the thick VAG type, the lumpy cam , tight valve clearances and not giving the tester a nice packet of biscuits. Lidl custard creams don't cut it with greedy testers
