How overpriced is this turd!

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p

It looks in good condition bodywork wise but the rear silencer has seen betters days.

Low mileage and original except the wheels and lights.

£4500 seems about right to me.

What do the zone Mafia think?

Being an R reg it more than likely would have started out with a nikasil block but its easy enough to check if its been replaced and tbh, nikasil isn't that big a problem now.

Is that for someone to carry out the swap Pete.

I can wield the spanner. It looks like you can use the original box.

I'd like to see how they get around the detent spring issue. I have seen some interesting 'fixes'

Just buy a manual one , unless the SMG turd is MUCH cheaper , why bother ? :?

A converted car will always be a b4stard and worth less than an original manual car.

Not many good ones left jon.

RE SMG to manual, we have a convertible evo in for work thats had the conversion and its poo. Still got various brackets, spare loom plugs, a pissed gear lever and the instrument cluster is still SMG. (doesnt have an engine oil temp gauge like the manual cars)

Last time I looked on PH there was only circa 17-20 for sale. As a comparison there is normally 10 z3m coupes for sale.

Getting a good one would require 8k and be a risk for sure.

Barely any Z3M coupes made compared to E36 M3's to be fair.

I hear what you guys are saying about the SMG

This is over on the cutters site.

Its a 3 owner car. The chap who owns it is the third owner. Its the right colour combo for me.

http://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/showthread.php?t=85547

Its top end money. I have arranged to go and have a look Monday.

What do we think a sensible bid should be at.

Are the values of these going to creep up over time?

I'm looking for some summer fun that won't have my pants down when I get bored.

Looks ok but £6k. Add another 2 and you would have a vastly better E46 M3 with less miles.

Steves car is rarer, has less miles, has had more (expensive) work done and is £2k cheaper. No brainer imo.

18's. 255 at the rear and 235 front I think.

If I could space the rear out more i would be happy. But as you know the Hartges already have integral spacers built in. The wheel bolts are already long.

These are great, that's quite cheap for one.

We have a LHD press car that was shipped to us as a shell and box of bits and it now almost a complete car.

Sort of agree, if it's going to be your fun car and it comes in coupe form you really want a coupe.

I have a fun car and needed a fast rep mobile - this ticks those boxes :P
