Any membets on the south coast or midlands do any spraying work??

My paintwork is V bad! so i just wanna get it sprayed over the same colour (got no chance of being able to afford a full respray a different colour!) and the usual rust protection on drivers rear arch and edge of the bootlid..

Anyone ?

Thanks

Ha, small world. Hes just 2/3 miles out on the Tenbury road.

The guy cut out, welded and resprayed my rear arches. He also resprayed my mates Nissan 300zx.

If you want the number, i'll PM it you.

you gets what you pays for, done on the side it can be cheap, but generaly your talking Ԛ£600 to Ԛ£2k plus!
best to ask your body shop for an estimate and what work that would cover

sorry its a bit vague but its hard to give a price without seeing the car and discussing whats to be done to it, and bodyshops can vary hugley in labour costs ect

Ask dips on here. He quoted me 400 for my kit alone, and says most are 900 for the kit alone. He says thats for a top finish, so i guess for a whole car its going ot be a lot. Ask dips, hes the man for the job. :thumb:

your price is going to depent on where and how bad your damage is, you see if you have damage to a door and it is next to a neighbouring panel, once the colour coat is applied the colour will not match the neighbouring panel. therefore it is neccesary to blend in. this results in colour bieng blown into the neghbouring panel to fade the mismatch out, the full panel is then laquered over.
The point behined me telling you this is simple, it could cost you few pounds more to get a full respray in a differnt colour, getting the car fully resprayed in its origional colour is no cheaper.
The only real exeptions to price is colour type (pearls, flips, metallics) it will also cost more for a finnish in black! due to the labour that is needed to make it look right.
Ive worked in bodyshops since i was at school so feel free to give a shout if advise is needed, always happy to help :D
