Bosch s5 in whatever size your car needs. Generally rated higher than others in the same size, and have five year guarantees.

If its not a daily driver id buy the S5 as advised, I have one on my E30 purely for the guarantee and that I rarely drive the car

Why do you say the S5 if not a daily driver?
What do you suggest for a daily driver?
I figured that Bosch would be the brand to go for but am slightly bemused by the variations and and different length of the guarantees...

Because a car that is stood is more likely to end up with a fuct battery, this way you are covered for the forseeable future, if you look after it or not.Gavla wrote:Why do you say the S5 if not a daily driver?

Tip: if its your car put the receipt for the battery sealed in a bag and tuck it behind the battery, that way it doesn't get lost and you get a free battery should yours go bad.
