Hello all, striped front end suspension down today to fit some eibach's, after cleaning it down it looked like this

It does look original but I was expecting more white! Just interested....

Yea that's what I was thinking, I guess it must have been good stuff, it's not flaking and it's not on any of the plastics.

I know that red E30's and alpine white come to think of it inside wheel arches were painted black from factory.

My Polaris prefacelift had black wheel arches that looked very original as well.

I think lighter colours were painted black in there to darken the area.

All the white ones I have seen are painted black inside the wheel arches
