Automatic heating option for post 87 e30, currently have the following:
Standard A/C items for parts in the engine bay. The HEATER/AIR CONDITIONING unit is the standard one i.e. no flaps for the actuator.
Automatic heater and a/c fascia, control unit, loom and the temp sensors and the required actuators/step motors.
most of the parts for the a/c are good, some of it is new as the system is being converted to R134A.
The actuator moves a flap (which I am not sure what it re-directs exactly). These flaps cannot be found in the standard heater unit
It would be helpful if anyone has adapted the standard heater/A/C unit to the automatic heater and a/c control and fascia (there are no bowden cables). From what I can gather the automated flap controls the heated air and outside air into the cabin. But there is next to no online literature regarding this system.
Any insight into this would be of great help.
assitance with automatic heating with a/c

I will add some pictures of the items and see what people think can be done, as I am sort of at a stand still regarding this.

Haven't got around to taking pictures of everything, however help has arrived from a friend. He has acquired the technical data for the automatic heating and a/c. If I get my hands on it I will post it here for others to see.

I assume you mean the electrical schematic for the behr control unit? Not able to find a single thing about the unit online. Maybe someone knows or works for behr hella, if it helps I have their part number: 91.706.40.002 (this is for the non a/c automatic heating).
In the mean time I have gone and added standard A/C to the car, so this falls off as an option.
Kind regards
