Im looking for some advice and info on angel eye headlights if anyone can help. Im thinking about getting a set for my touring but dont really know much about them. Can anyone recommend a set or anywhere to get a decent set? Is there any reason not to get a set or anything i should know? Also im not to clued up on the option of LEDs? Do they usually come with bulbs or do the use different bulbs or same bulbs as standard headlights? Is there any other changes you to make when fitting them? Basically any info or advice would be helpful. Cheers

Haha. Cheers guys. I know there not to everyones taste and i was almost certain i was goin to be letting myself in for some stick with this one. But i do think they look pretty good imo. I have sort of got a bit of a image in my head of how i want to get my car and i am slowly getting there. Black touring, lowered, black kidney grill, IS lip, exhaust, with angel eyes. Well thats it for the outside anyway. Dont want to mess about with it too much.
Haha yes i do remember the craze of lexus lights, but they actually were really sh!t, and i was never tempted with them.jmc330i wrote:You remember the craze of Lexus rear lights???Rich2388 wrote: Is there any reason not to get a set

The last set of 'angel eyes' aftermarket lights I came across fitted to a car were of such poor quality that I couldn't get a beam pattern good enough to pass a MOT test.

I bought them off a zoner who bought them off ebay,

Haha so u secretly liked them thenjmc330i wrote:I should just say my touring had them fitted and I kept them on for almost 6 months
Im going to ask a question now and it might seem a bit stupid but I have seen them on ebay as like rings for like less than £50, and then also on ebay as like whole headlight sets for about £150, whats the difference? I guess the rings you fit yourself to your original lights, and the £150 set are whole new headlights complete, so you could still have and use your originals as spares? Am i right?

i think that you're better off getting the ccfl angel rings and fit them into the oem headlights.
That's the only angel lights I have ever liked on an e30.
