I'm looking at getting some trackday wheels for my M3 and don't want to spend much cash on them. There are loads of E36/46 wheels going sheap on ebay but they require spacers to get the offset right.
Any ideas where I could get the spacers from and roughly how much they might cost? I would need 15mm.
On the same not: Would anyone advise for or against spacers on track wheels? I'm generally not a fan but have no real evidence to back my fears.
Cheers everyone
Spacers for wheels - where from?

I don't know where you can get them but make sure you get the ones that permanently bolt to the hubs and then have stud/bolt type things for the wheel to fit onto. This is especially important for racing, don't get the normal ones that are just a piece of metal with holes drilled in it. I have the first type and I have done a year of autocross, track days, and sprints on them and they have had no problems.

dedicated spacers are out there, also stud converrion spacers meaning you could bolt 5stud vw rims to an e30 4 stud, BUT they are expensive about Ԛ£120 a pair
normal dedicated spacers are Ԛ£40 to Ԛ£50 a pair then extended wheel bolts, about Ԛ£1.20 each X 20 =Ԛ£24
however you may experience wheel shake with anything more than 10mm spacers, i run 5mm an the M3 just for clearance.
