I think after few years ,,that LSx will dominate all high-power E30 cars on the planet,,
EVERY thing in the world recommends to do LS swap,, it is a genius solution for high power and recent pricetag
simply fantastic engine ,, and all mods cost so little compare do almost all other newer engines,, and you get quite a gain also
and we are not talking about F/I,, this is the normal aspiration department.....

It would seem someone mistook your Jägermeister one for a real one!

yes just read it, that car is still for sale at about 5 k if I remember right, about the price of a decent cage and paint job some people just don't realize the cost of building one of these cars and the problem of locating the parts

Any reason why your not going to run standard E30 M3 front if your going back to 5x120?

e30 m3 struts are getting very hard to find and very expensive also if you need anymore camber you can just shim the hub to strut not that it will be needed on this car running a group a front adjustable set up lots of people use this set up look at bmd motorsports cars also using this set up gives you a wider track on the front which makes for better handling and less understeer but you have to fun the wider dtm front wings

Can you list the parts required to do this set up as I have also been interested in going this route due to cost.

Cool build!
If I'm looking at the front top mounts correctly, you're using the E36 HSD top mounts and using the camber adjustment for caster and vise versa? I have HSDs on my car. I had custom top mounts made for them. I still have the drawing for them if you're interested.
What's your plan with getting sump/crossmember clearance?
Cheers. Dave.

thanks dave but you can get enough castor and more than enough camber like this if not you can shim the e36 front leg to hub so no problem but thankyou for the offer, as for the sump to crossmember I will cross that bridge when the car gets there if too much of a problem then there will be another ls3 engined car on the roaddavethegoat wrote:Cool build!![]()

Hi Wayne,
Nice to see you are building an other V8 M3, this time with BMW engine.
Many years ago I visited you with a friend to buy your AP brakes (4-piston), still use them on my track car.
Will do a similar build with S65 in it, so will be nice to watch your build.
John
