I would say don't narrow your market too much. Sure specialise in e30 but try other BMW or classic german stuff

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

I think there's a market for good clean ones out with the usual classic bmw dealer (four star classics et al). Easier said than done though.

Personally E30's sell themselves as its not a new car only people looking for one will come to buy, then you have to decide if they are 1. Someone who knows E30's or 2. Someone who doesn't know shite but likes them.

Number 1 will most likely find imperfection/rust and number 2 you will probably be able to sell them a rust bucket

Compose a mock ad on this thread, then get some feedback on your power of selling (read: get ripped apart) :(

Just make sure it is well structured, well written, without using slang and is grammatically correct. And no spelling mistekes (see what I did there?). Plenty of pics. :D

My advice would be:

1) Write an advertisment stating all the good and bad points of the car.
2) Take pictures of car highlighting said good and bad points.
3) Decide on a reasonable price for car.
4) place completed advertisment on relevant websites/magazines.

The great thing about owning a quattroporte is that you do not have to deal with all of the aggro that selling a car entails. Just make her REALLY HEAVY, ring up the iron yard , drive onto the bridge, say goodbye and collect your Shekels ! sorted :D

Indeed. I have a quattroporte ready to be weighed, it is currently sitting outside with a full interior and more but with no screens or sunroof panel. The way rain water is running out of it I am expecting a flood warning to be flagged :D

On that note. Adi, did you manage to remove the dash and carpets and take some pics of the inner scuttle
area ? I am definately interested in your £495, inc 6 months rent, cream puff and should be in a position, subject to pics and positive results on the chemical analysis of the screenwash reservoir , to give you a deposit by March and complete by August subject to my personal injury payout :)
