Get my company car taken off me in Feb, i travel around Johannesburg all week, i am tempted with a pickup truck but it just doesn't do it for me.

An e91 touring seems to fit the bill, price wise they seem to range from £8000-£13000 uk money here for a preface lift one

What should i look out for? Whats the least problematic engine

Most common engines here seem to be the 320i followed by the 325i and 320d. Diesel has not kicked off here like europe.

Alot seem to be auto's too which i am tempted to go for with the amount of traffic you have to sit in here

Least problematic engine is the N52 fitted to the 325i and 330i up to sept 2007.

Do NOT get a 318i/320i with the N46 engine, just a load of agro waiting to happen!

The six pots all have electric water pumps, as do the 4 pot N43 from sept 2007 but they don't give much trouble.

Diesels, M47 up to 2007, N47 onward.

Just do a search on here with my user name and N47 and M47 and you will find plenty of info on here that I have posted.
