I thought you purchased a set of 5 stud and were looking to get them plugged/redrilled for 4 stud?

Plenty of custard cans but they are all structural , or will be when the (FOUR DOOR) scrapper has been lobbed up :)

Decided against that idea and am going with PCD adapters.

4 or 5 stud pattern they are ridiculously overpriced was the point i was trying to make.

Sounds like you have 5 stud, hence topblag's disbelief that you scored a set of 4 x 100 for £900.
A 5 stud conversion has got to be preferable over messing with some shonky adaptors.

You're full of it. The point you were trying to make was that you had 4 stud hartge splits, which you don't.

They've been for sale for ages.

Are they worth it? Probably, but they may take a long while to find their buyer.

They're certainly very rare though, I've only ever seen two sets. The 5 stud versions are far more common and as such only worth a fraction of a perfect set of four stud wheels.
cheers,

16's are even rarer in 4stud.

As Harry says, these have been up for a long time and I think at different prices also, think he might be a zoner to.

Classic "C" design, I have lots of em :D

I only speak from experience, which usually means foook all but it's always worth buying wheels that fit, and not one's that have to be made to fit !

I know three sets of Hartge split 17x7.5 17x8.5 4x100. In 1996 I bought a brand new set from Hartge for $2,900 US. I found a other used set for $1,700. I gave my friend a chance to buy them. I regret it. My friend has two sets. One of them is my old set. I am in the proses of trading him for e30 m3 17x7.5 17x8.5 5x120.

Here is pic of the ones I bought from Hartge on my friend e30.

Here is the other set I found 2 years ago. My buddy bought. I really regret it.
