Hi guys i am back at last,lost my password so had to start new account.Anyway it looks great this new zone have not had a good look round yet.I have also won a 1991 318is on ebay it was a local car i dont know if anybody seen it on ebay.Real great condition got it for £700 but by the pics it looks good.Only thing is its got 215 on the clock full history and mot.I am supposed to pick it up on the weekend did i do good or what should still be okay.That way i can keep the convertible off the road should have her back by the weekend.

Doesn't seem tooooo bad a price. I got mine with 185k on the clock for £500... needed 2 front wings and some welding under the windscreen though...

215k? That's got to be the highest mileage 318iS i've heard of. It's double mine at 107.5k.

Can't really tell what it's gonna be like without seeing it in the flesh. Hope it's had a rebuild at some point. Geeman's had 3 top end rebuilds by 185k. 8O

Geeman's had 3 top end rebuilds by 185k
And all down to a knack'd radiator... Got a HUGE one in now... 8)

Hope yours is okay. Will have to post some pics up to let us have a nose... as usual.

u know u want that engine i have Giles !!wink wink!!

that car really shifts for a 1.8!! and its 100% stock, just a k&n panel

it also hasnt been subjected to the patented Karan style abuse lol

PS-- iS engines are very fragile-i killed one cos of oil surge round a roundabout, look after them, a few early expenses on the engines like giles has done pays dividends in the long run, as u could be needing a new head which is very expensive and hard to get hold off 2nd hand, as these cars are very rare now
