4dr sport diff ratio

Bit of a longshot but does anyone know what diff ratio a Greg 4dr mtech2 manual will have? And will it be an lsd ?

4dr sport, eh? Very rare care there! Ratio could be anywhere between 3.64 and 3.91, and could be LSD or not, depending on what the original purchaser specified (and whatever bits have been changed since.)

Just ignore them. You wrongly called it a sport because it's got an m tech kit on. Sports were only ever 2 doors and are a spec level. Hope that helps

Facelift 325 should have a 3.91 diff. You might be lucky and it may have a LSD which will help ease the pain of having to kill a four door

Plastic bumper manual saloons still had 3.64, auto 3.73.

Tech 2 sports and Tourings both auto and manual 3.91.

Diffs do get changed/robbed/swaped/safety converted though

I had an f reg tech 2 which still had a tech 1 wheel in which definitely had a 3.64

Early tech 2 sports did indeed have a 385mm tech 1 steering wheel but all tech 2 sports had a 3.91 LSD from new.

I think it's a tech1 thing alpina123 as my tech1 has a 3.64 LSD

You should be doing 2750 at 70mph with a 3.64

May be it got replaced at some point in the cars past as Maggspower suggested but tech 2 sports 100% had 3.91's from new.

I know the number plate was f846 adw but can't remember the chassis no as I did check it at the time on realoem I'll get the chassis no tomorrow

Real oem will not tell you what ratio diff was from new, only the choice of ratios for 325i's.

BMW's dealer ETK will do though.
