I didn't go as far as laminating, but I do have a fusebox diagram printed in my glovebox. Nothing wrong with thatdiable wrote:Sad as I am I have that printed. laminated and kept in the gloveboxzd3bx wrote:Have a look here > http://www.e30zone.net/e30zonewiki/index.php/Fuse_Box

That part of the Wicki could do with an update as far as some of the older E30's
are concerned. For example, the fuse for my early motronic M10 fuel pump, No 11, should
be 15amp rating and not 7.5, wouldn't have spotted that if not for Mr Moore.
Apologies for slight spam, OP.

Yes have checked all fuses and tested all relays and all are ok, have split the fuse box and checked all is ok. A bit stumped with it as all was working fine when i re-commissioned the car.
I dont suppose anyone knows where i can get a wiring diagram from.
Cheers

Wiring diagrams here: http://www.autolib.diakom.ru/CAR/BMW/ No knowledge of Russian required - just click on the drop down boxes.
Have you actually changed fuse 21, or just looked at it and put it back?
If the car has been left without power for any length of time, the duff instruments are likely to be failed SI batteries.

Thanks for the wiring diagrams.
Yes i have replaced all the fuses, the car was stood for 2 tto 3 years before i put it back on the road, and i did think about the si batteries, but if these batteries where duff would the service lights still work, mine seem to work fine...
Cheers

Service lights still light with duff batteries, but usually in non plausible combinations, such as two greens and a red.
Do you have a conventional clock, with a dial and hands? If so, there's only wire between fuse 21 and the three pin plug to the clock. Clock can be removed in seconds - flip off the front bezel, then just flip two plastic tabs to pull it out of the dash.
