It has what looks like volume control on one side and a switch on the other.
And it lives under the drivers side dash, its tucked way but looks factory fitted.

Some E30's were fitted with a system called M stability control, which was adjustable, when used at full setting gives the car an extra 30bhp at the wheels, seems you are a lucky man, and you have one of the few cars with it fitted!! Use that button with caution you lucky man!

Yes he is..or at least i think he is

Have you got Plasma dials in yer car?

I have this in mine and the switch takes you from Blue to Green and the volume like dial is for the Brightness..

He's spot on there, I just put Plasma dials in my girlfriends car and the control box is exactly the same, have a look at www.speedhut.com on there is some pictures of the controller. If they're not working probably the transformer, replacements can be bought from speedhut

You mean it DOESN'T increase the BHP by 30 at a twist of a dial...? Bugger. :wink:
