So ive missed owning an E30, so I stumbled across this for not many pennies!

The roof is completely knackered, and is as much use as a chocolate fireguard!

the body is extremely solid, arches show no signs of rot, found a little sign of rust in the boot- but all in all, a great base!

only 77,000 miles, full service history and mot till july!

only down side engine is seized- its a 320, so good reason for a engine conversion- which im sure will need some advice nearer the time!

when the weather gets a little fairer, im going to strip the interior out, and have a dry out!!! then try and make some room in the garage to keep it dry!!

have a list of things that need to be done- and plenty of parts that need to be gone!

Very nice

There are a few well known "traders" on here and private sales of complete 325 engine+box conversion kits, for as little as £300.

Hood wise....I'd be tempted to spend a few more quid and get a hard top. The reality of also being a cabby owner is that the hood is up 9 out of 10 times I drive it.

hardtop is good if you use this car as daily, otherwise it's not very useful.

So Been a while since I updated- so I stripped the car interior, carpet, seats and everything was just horrible and falling apart- so sourced a new interior, its not perfect, but a lot better than I had!

Changed the shocks and springs to Eibach and Bilsteins, giving about a 40mm drop.
Changed the discs and pads to Brembo's
Cleaned the arches rigorously and protected them with tonnes of underseal.
Took the front arches off and stone chipped the wings and under sealed everywhere!
Sills stone chipped and under sealed- Mtec 2 kit fitted.
Inside of the boot was stripped out and I squeezed as much under seal as i could in the gaps between the wheel wheels and outer arch.
Interior put back together (still tidying up some parts)
16" Compomotives put on- with Proxes on.
Headlights are with Magpie getting smoked!
Hardtop sourced and fitted- has beige headlining to match!
Dials updated- not to everyones taste im sure- but I like it!
Tech 2 steering wheel added
Grey "SE" trim added- gauges in the old ashtray slot
New Alpine speakers fitted

and this is it up too now!

Nothing has been done engine wise- chopped and changed my mind- but now im fixed on the M52 route.

Still loads of bits to do- loads of clips etc to collect from bmw- but im getting there. really cant wait to get this turd on the road.

So ive become a little disheartened with it- thinking of something else, think im always going to want a coupe- a project where the engine works for a start...................so thinking of letting this go- either by breaking or selling complete, obviously with some preferred parts staying with me for the future car! think breaking it is the answer as its not going to command much as a non runner!
not really sure what its all worth complete, which is why I have not done a for sale thread!

but if anyone is interested in taking it then feel free to message me.
