Hi can anyone help please?
I want to fit a Pioneer DEH-X6600DAB in my E30 and I've been told I will need an adapter to fit the existing wiring. Can anybody tell me what type I'll need and where I can get hold of one please.
Cheers

Depending on what wiring/connectors you have in the vehicle at the minute you will need something like this http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_265875
Do you have bare wires or a connector to connect to? if so what connector?

Did you get any wiring with the Head Unit?
He might need something like that depending on what wiring he has.
If he's got bare wires he can chop one end of the connector in the "link posted" and connect the other end to the stereo.
Thats why I asked if the vehicle has a connector or bare wires.

Halfords also sell (used to sell?) the correct E30->ISO connector that plugs into the accessory socket behind the glove box. Magpie is breaking my old car, which definitely had one in it.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I got this sorted as it turned out the loom had a already been cut into... new unit now in and up and running and am fitting a DAB aerial splitter to make use of the existing aerial.
My new problem is the drivers side front panel got bumped Christmas Eve and gave me a Christmas present I really didn't want!
I'll put a post up under the right heading but can anyone recommend a good place for repairs in or around Manchester please?
Cheers
