does anyone have a chandlers rear window sticker or hexagon tax disc? the quadrifoglio and sewell is from an original. the image of the chandlers on i used was very low res and i suspect there shoudl be an address under the text. the hexagon tax disc one i made up

any help would be appreciated...

that tax isc holder is a first! if i knew what was behind the tax disc or what the blue lines were meant to represent, then that wouldn't be too bad. i reckon i could have a fair crack at the 5er as well.

on the tax disc holder, if we look a the blue lines...the deviations seem to have a vertical line of symmetry, although this is offset to the right a bit overall. they seem to deviate to represent 2 upward pointing triangles at the top, some form of curve underneath, bot not necessarily a circle, then 2 downward pointing triangles. must have been some hi-tech 80s supercomputer graphics program that made that one!

i guess if i go with that then the tax disc holder will cover the middle anyway so son't be far off.

Atul, I'll take a Quad dealer sticker please. It won't be going on the car but in the history in case a future owner decides he wants it on.

Do you have no clues to the original plate? No security etchings on the windows with the plate etc?

I don't have the service book...

I thought I was the only E30 owner without a service book
Well I was given one but I swear is the wrong one.
Service book says PDI was done at BMW Stephen James
Enquiries with BMW lead me to believe sold and PDI done by L&C Tunbridge Wells.

As for where your BMW is from
Get chassis number
Go to friendly dealer
Get print out of spec
Will list and say supplying dealer code
As long as dealer code still in existence ie hasn't changed owners easy to trace said dealer
Otherwise little bit of detective work is needed
Eg original cooper park lane has different dealer code to current BMW park Lane
MLG Chiswick has different dealer code to park west/Chiswick/h r Owen Chiswick/Berry Chiswick
Can also find out same info by ringing up BMW UK vehicle spec helpline but is £1 per min so ask your questions quickly
The original plate of yours looks from outside England, Scotland, Wales.
